As a trusted partner of Zimbabwe, Cotecna is mandated by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to execute the Zimbabwe Consignment Based Conformity Assessment programme for General Goods.
Cotecna’s mandate consists in issuing Certificates of Conformity (COC) for general goods complying with applicable requirements. The main objective of this programme is to better protect consumers and importers from substandard, counterfeit and potentially dangerous goods

Cotecna is a trusted partner to the Zimbabwe government. Our mandate covers the physical inspection, sampling and testing of goods at laboratories accredited as per ISO 17025. We can also conduct factory audits to ensure production is compliant with Zimbabwe standards.
